Welcome or Welcome back to PESCA's web site. We are one of the longest standing community associations in Pickering, focused on promoting and enhancing the cultural, civic, social and recreational life of the community of Pickering and particularly within the PESCA boundaries.

PESCA News

PESCA Accomplishements in 2010

- PESCA spent more than $34, 000 to support, maintain and beautify the community of Bay Ridges in particular and Pickering in general ... made up of:

- Donation of $5,000 to the Pickering Bi-Centennial
- Donation of $2,100 to local charitable and volunteer organizations - (Boy Scouts, Community Care, Royal Canadian Legion)
- $500 in support of the Pickering library reading program
- Christmas donation of $5,000 to 9 needy families in Bay Ridges to celebrate a very merry Christmas.
- $1200 in support to residents of Bay Ridges who give to the community through its annual Student; Beautiful Gardens and Christmas Light Decoration award programs
- $2,200 on Newsletters and public meetings - (municipal election, annual general meeting)
- Spent over $19,000 on purchasing and erecting a new sun-shelter on our waterfront
