General Information

  • The City of Pickering rents three meeting rooms and the gymnasium in the East Shore Community Centre.

  • Tables and chairs are available in all the rooms
    (to be set by the applicant).

  • Hours of availability are 9:00am to 11:00pm Sunday to Friday and until 1:00am Saturday
Room Information

  • Room 2 and 4 can be rented individually or the two rooms can be rented together as one larger room for Social Functions since there is direct access between them (double doors)

  • Room 2 and 4 can accommodates up to 66 people each for meetings and they have whiteboards.

  • Room 2 has a stove, sink and a fridge
    (food preparation is to be done off-site).

  • The Gymnasium can accommodates up to 240 people (240 with chairs only & 200 with chairs & tables) for Social Functions (dance, party, Jack & Jill, etc.) or for Meetings. There is an adjacent kitchen (stove, sink, fridges & microwave), which can be used for food setup (food preparation is to be done off-site)
  • The Community Room can accomodate up to 100 people with chairs only and up to 80 people with chairs and tables.
